Southern Door offers the famous and iconic Hein’s Beach (a local and tourist favorite). A fun family adventure is booking a tour of Renards Cheese; taste those yummy samples and grab a bite to eat while your littles play outside on the playground! Denn is an artists collective that offers local wine and beer to its guests while you peruse the unique gallery made completely out of shipping containers! For those nature lovers, Southern Door is a quieter area that welcomes cyclists and hikers to enjoy the beauty of the Ahnapee Trail, Potawatomi State Park or any of the Land Trust Properties.
Algoma offers a sprawling large sand beach, an arts district (Steele Street), an established winery, (Von Stiehl) a great Brewery (Ahnnapee Brewery), a true Wisconsin supper club (Hotel Stebbins) and an amazing high end restaurant (Son Of Skaliwags) not to mention all the brick and mortar businesses dotting the streets of the downtown all without the crowds.

We have two YMCA locations for those looking to get their workout in, use the indoor lap pool or children's indoor playroom/pool for those unfortunate rainy days.
