Historic Northern Door County vacation home.  Our home offers a large backyard with outdoor seat, bonfire areas and a private sandy beach.  We are conveniently located next to the public park which makes this home the perfect place for families.
Jacksonport Lake House

Jacksonport Lake House: Welcome to our charming historic vacation home in Jacksonport, situated among the pine trees along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan. This cozy retreat is perfect for those seeking relaxation and tranquility.


Step out of the back door and find yourself on a lush green space leading directly to a private sandy beach. Immerse yourself in the refreshing waters of Lake Michigan or take a leisurely stroll to Lakeside Park, offering expansive picnic areas, a children’s playground, and a spacious sandy beach. 


Convenience is key – within walking distance, discover local restaurants, bike and kayak rentals, and a grocery store. Enjoy the farmer’s market every Tuesday morning, June-October.

And if that's not enough, you can take a stunning walk along the water's edge to explore the local restaurants, bars, and shops. This home is perfect for families or small groups.


Pinecone Haven is situated in a residential neighborhood on the west side of Sturgeon Bay. It is located just a few steps away from Otumba Park, which boasts a beautiful sandy beach, a newly-opened all-ages playground for kids, tennis courts, a large park shelter, and several charcoal grills for visitors to enjoy a fun-filled day at the park. Otumba Park also offers a kayak launch and an ADA Mobi mat, for people with disabilities, walkers, elderly visitors, or parents with strollers to have access to the water.



 

Restaurants + Breweries:

  1. Bridge Up Brewery - Located below Sonny's Pizzaria, they provide board and outdoor yard games while serving local brews. Order pizza to-go from Sonny's and enjoy Sturgeon Bay's waterfront views.

  2. Kitty O'Reilly's Irish Pub has perfected the family-friendly atmosphere. They have a stunning lush outdoor garden and seating, a tiki bar with a kids' sandbox area where kids can roam and parents can watch while enjoying their favorite beverage or bite to eat.

  3. Al Johnson's is one of Door County's oldest and most iconic restaurants, the one with the goats on the roof. Located in Sister Bay, you can put your name on the waitlist and enjoy the warm sun in their outdoor bar/game area or check out their new gift shop next door.

  4. One Barrel in Egg Harbor is a great spot to grab a drink, order some pizza and soak up the sun while the kids play outside.


 

Play Parks + Beaches

  1. Otumba Park and Beach - Newly renovated park and beach with an all-ages and abilities playground, kayak launch and a Modi-mat ADA beach access mat. Otumbe Park offers bathrooms, a rentable pavilion, tennis courts, grills and seating.

  2. Big Green - Newer playground with swings, semi-all-ages play area at St. John Bosco Church and school. There are no public bathrooms.

  3. Sunset Park and Beach - one of Sturgeon Bay's largest parks, has a playground area, beach, bathrooms and a walking path.

  4. Murphy Park - One of Door County's iconic spots, this park has a small play area, a pavilion, a beach, bathrooms and the iconic pier. Located just south of Egg Harbor, it's a perfect stop on your day's adventures.

The Farm
  1. Door County YMCA - The newly renovated Sturgeon Bay campus offers a zero entry recreation pool + slide, a children's play room, a lap pool, hot tub, sauna and a state of the art workout facility.

  2. Hands on Art Studio is a DIY Door County Destination, offering you a free-wheeling walk-in art experience, no reservations needed! They have multiple studio spaces, which total 8,000 square feet of creative fun for all ages!    You as the artist get to choose from a large variety of art projects including ceramics, fused glass, jewelry, mosaic and a wide selection of canvases, wood, glass or metal pieces to paint.

  3. Plum Loco is a private, family owned and operated, farm-animal sanctuary that offers animal interaction  - as well as an elaborate & imaginative play-farm village for children. Plum Loco to be a gentle, creative and entertaining place to relax, picnic and play.

  4. The Farm is a great family friendly activity to do while visiting Door County, Wisconsin. Visit farm animals in natural surroundings and bottle feed goat kids, lambs, and piglets or milk a goat, see chicks hatch. Established in 1965 The Farm features pioneer log buildings, farm tools and implements, gardens and field crops. The Farm is a living museum of rural America.

Veteran and former nurse anesthetist Sean Grorich (founder) decided to pursue his lifelong love of coffee and founded Pinky Promise Coffee Roasters in January 2020. Starting in a hundred-year-old building in picturesque Sturgeon Bay, Door County he's remodeled the space into a beautiful modern roastery. Today Pinky Promise coffees are sold throughout Door County, Wisconsin as well as online.
